I assume you mean when they get read receipts for e-mail it lights their
MWI as well as tells them they have a new receipt.  I had this happen to
me as well I think it is new in 4.0.5.

 

Download the latest advanced settings tool from www.ciscounitytools.com
<http://www.ciscounitytools.com/> .

Under conversations- exclude all receipts from voice mail stack. 

I am pretty sure this is the correct location, if not it is one of the
settings in this area. I did not keep notes from the last time I did
this.
