Scott,
CS3 != IP Prec 3 when it comes to ACL's. In your policy map, you can do a
match dscp c3 in addition to match ip prec 3. For the time being, I'd keep
both until all the Cisco products default to CS3.
This specification cam out late last year I believe, and was written into
the Cisco SRND that came out this past summer. There was no announcment, I
caught it when I did a CM 4.1 install and noticed the DSCP value of CS3.
When I inquired about it, I got the answer I just gave you and an apology
for not making it more publicly known.
Hope this helps.
Phil

So if my ACL specifies IP Precedence 3 will it match CS3?
And do you have a time frame in which this changed? Was something announced
so the little people like me would know this?
Thanks
Scott

it changed after some ITU folks changed their minds. CS3 is the new
ordained marking. LLQ matches whatever you specify in your ACL.

What DSCP does CM 4.1.3 use for VoIP and Control on 7940/60 with firmware

I thought it was EF for Voice and AF31 for Control but in the setting -->
network settings --> 53 DSCP for Call Control is CS3.
I understand CS3 is Precedence 3 but does LLQing see it as the same?
Thanks
Scott
