[cisco-voip] Cool new Phone 7985G

I have an h323 Gatekeeper, but it is not working with my CM 4.1.  How
does the SCCP piece work?

I would think you'd be able to make this work via Gatekeeper since CM
4.X supports video.  Easily done on virtually any IOS box.

What kind of gateway does SCCP to H323?  I think the CIO is going to
want one.

Other than the exorbitant price tag, the problem with this phone is that
it does not support H.323 for signaling so if I want to integrate it
with the rest of my legacy video conferencing infrastructure it has to
be done through a SCCP to H.323 gateway. I hate that it requires you to
purchase more equipment; it sounds like a good enough reason NOT to buy
it to me.

No.  I've been using one on my desk for several months now (internal
cisco trial).  It has a magnetically actuated hook switch - completely
different than any of the other phones.
