[cisco-voip] Dialing out with Unity

This is an interesting post as I have been looking to do something
similar with IPCC/IVR and customer call backs. I don't think that IPCC
has the ability to dial out, only the script portion.  My local Cisco
IVR contact suggested an HP dialer solution, but it is big $$$ (over
50K).  We did purchase the IPcelerate appliance for paging and other
apps.  Their appliance does come with a Dial Out feature much like the
one Scott asked for.  You record a message and then it dials a
pre-defined list of numbers and plays the message.  I have not tested it
yet, but that is the proclaimed function.

Something like this isn't really possible with Unity, it's designed for
dial-out notification when people get messages.
 
You be better suited to use the IVR functions of IPCC Express to do
this.

I know that Unity can dial out, so I would like to know if this is
possible:

 

I would like to somehow enter a bunch of phone numbers (~500) non- Unity
numbers.  (IE. Home numbers of students).  I'm thinking maybe a
distribution list.  Record a message and have it call all the numbers
and leave a message.

 

Is this possible?
