i've helped people create an intentional overlap (9111) so you get
<interdigit timeout> to think about it before the call actually routes out.
Not a problem so long as your interdigit timeout is low and the timeout does
not violate local regulations.

Subject: [cisco-voip] 911
I've seen this come up before but can't remember what people were using.
I believe I have people dialing 911 by accident and hanging up. Then I have
a police officer showing up and because the call came from my PBX I don't
have the DID to go back to. I think I've seen someone running it through
Unity or something that asked the user if they really want to dial 911
before they call. Can someone tell me what they are doing?
