If it were AIX, I can tell you we wouldn't be looking at it. ;)

Knowing what's underneath helps understand the licensing and security models a bit. 

More warm and fuzzies than anything though.

  My understanding was that 5.x uses an "appliance" model.  That is, you don't see the platform, only a very limited interface.  If this is true (is it?), does it do any good to know whether or not it's a RH Linux train, as opposed to just "not Windows?"
