Hi, Jason.
So how I understand Conf bridge located in the HQ, and belong to the DP which doesn't contain transcoding resources ?
>> Correct
If so, insert this transcoding to the this DP.
>> Ok, so I put the transcoder into the HQ DP but it's the same result.
Because when you call from remote location to the HQ phone, you use transcoding but when you initiate a conference, you take another resource and this resource
must also have knowledge where take transcoding.
>> So do I need a transcoding resource on each side? IE, do I have to configure my GW at HQ to use local transcoding resources as well? This makes sense, but I asked this up front and didn't get a response, so I didn't figure it was necessary.
Another way, configure dspfarm also like conf bridge.
>> This sounds like it might be easier.

Hi Konstantin,
Right now I'm speaking g711 across the WAN so they use CCM resources. I know - its not an efficient or scalable solution, but our remote offices started small and are now growing rapidly, therefore its now imperative that I speak a lower bw codec to the WAN sites.

Hi,
What conference bridge do you use for remote phones ??
Does this conf bridge belong to the DP which also have transcoding resources ?
