Of course it is recommended that you run the latest OS versions. There are no issues I know of with running different OS versions. However, (I know this is not your question :-) running different versions of CCM in a cluster is likely to cause issues and is not supported, even if it is as minor as a difference in SR or ES level.

We do that here as well. 7835 pub and tftp server and 7845 subs. We're upgrading to a new 7845 model on the weekend.
Any idea on whether different o/s versions/patches are ok on the servers?

I have assisted numerous customers in just this scenario.
Typical build:
Publisher - 7845
CTI/Extended services - 7835
Subscribers - 7845/7835's depending on number of devices.
Was blessed by TAC and various account teams each time.

Does anyone know if there are there any technical or TAC support issues with mixing MCS platforms in a CallManager cluster? e.g. 7835 Publisher with 7825 subscribers?
Thanks,
Derek
