[cisco-voip] CDR flat files not being deleted

This error happens when there are more then 200 files in the folders used for CDR flat files.

On server with CDR (usually pub), check \program files\cisco\call detail and cdr, bad, cmr folders to see if there are a boatload of cdr flat files not being processed for some reason or another. You can move these to another folder and then see if service starts up fine, etc.

There were a couple bugs that could cause flat files not to be processed, but also some bugs were due to invalid data being in the flat files and configuration needed changed to get around those problems.

HTH, Erick

Subject: [cisco-voip] CDR flat files not being deleted

Hi,

I'm having some trouble with CDR service. I've noticed that the last three weeks I have an Eventviewer error every night telling that the CDR files are being backed up and not deleted.
Nothing has been changed and this has never happened before. What could have happened?
I have enabled detailed traces but traces/DBL/DCRinsert files are empty (0Kb)

 Thanks in advance,

 Ruben
