alright, maybe it's just my University residence days coming back to haunt me....but after reading the subject in my preview screen I couldn't understand why you would want to only "simulate" a bong.... ;)

Subject: [cisco-voip] Simulating "Bong's"
This is going to sound pretty strange. We are going to be converting a customer from an existing Definity G3 System, and they have a feature that they are currently using that allows them to page a group of users by, what they describe as "Bong's". Basically, when they want to get hold of a certain group, anyone can pickup the phone and dial something like *70, and you hear Tone's coming out of the paging speakers.
It would be pretty easy to simulate this with a Viking nightbell ringer, but they are not a huge fan of the sound generated by the ringer. They are wanting something "Softer".
Any thoughts?
Spencer
