FYI CSCsc99161 will be fixed in 8.0(4) which is *currently* scheduled
to be released August 24.
If it's really biting you there is an ES available. Open a TAC SR to
get it.

Generally, I'd chalk this up to a reversed hook and just not hanging
up properly, however last week at a client they had the same problem
(with a 7961 though). The user could not answer via the handset, they
had to use the answer softkey or speaker to answer. We played with it
for about 30 minutes trying some stuff and finally ended up just
giving it the old **#**, it worked fine after a reset.
They haven't had it happen since then so I've chalked it up to a
rarely occuring bug :)
