In a nutshell, CER works by mapping switch ports to physical locations
via CDP (so it requires Cisco switches).

Subject: [cisco-voip] CER

I don't know much about CER but I have a problem and I'm wondering if
that is my answer.

I have multiple sites and I have now seen as of today people moving from
one site to another site and I was not informed. Which means due to CSS
they would be call out the wrong VGW for 911.

How does CER take care of this issue?

Scott
