On CM 4.1.3sr2 I can not get that to work (no option in softkey template
for Abbrdial)..... So I can not prove you wrong.

I would open a product feature request with CIPTUG / Cisco Account team.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Transfering a call to an AbbrDial

Doesn't seem to be possible, but I'd like to be proven wrong. Once you
press Transfer, Abbreviated Dial isn't one of the softkey choices.

If you have an existing call and place it on hold and try to do a new
call you don't get the abbreviated dial softkey.

The only workaround I've gotten so far is to park the call, do a new
call using the abbrdial, then transfer to the call park number, but that

seems kludgey.
