[cisco-voip] Phones Not Registered

Okay, so I uninstalled Trend AntiVirus (hadn't been rebooted since
installing Trend) and turned off CSA and everything is back to normal...
I tried turning back on CSA and it's working so I'm not sure which one
to blame at this point.

Users were thinking that the whole world was "on the other line" when
the busy tone was generated!

Thank you everyone for your help!

h323 gateways and intercluster trunks do not register. h323 is a peer
to peer protocol.

only protocols such as SIP, MGCP, SCCP have a registration process.

You will need to get CCM and/or SDL traces and possibly a packet
capture.

Is this a GK controlled ICT or just a straight ICT? If straight ICT
make sure you can telnet directly to port 1720 of the remote cluster.
If' it's GK controlled, make sure you can telnet to the port that the
remote cluster reigsters with the GK

The problem is that when we try to dial out, we get fast busy signal.
We noticed "Not Registered" and thought that it might have been part of
the problem. This is on both of our H.323 g/w and inter-cluster trunk.

Restart Cisco RISDC service. Has no impact to users.
