[cisco-voip] Broadcast Algorithm for Hunt Group

So your LG has extensions 1000,2000,and 3000.

Then your Hunt group has the LG

And the Hunt pilot has the HG.

People call the Pilot number and it's only ringing the 1000?

What version of CM?

Is your line group set as a Broadcast?

That is the problem. Whoever answers the first call is getting all other
calls that come in while that first call is still active.

The result they want is this:

Let's say we have three members in the hunt group. 1000, 2000 and 3000
when a call comes to the pilot number for the hunt group it will
broadcast to all three members 1000, 2000 and 3000. Member 1000 answers
the call. While 1000 is connected to the first call a second call comes
in. They want this call to be broadcast to the remaining two members of
the hunt group, members 2000 and 3000.

However, what is happening is it is being sent only to 1000 again. 2000
and 3000 do not ring again until all phones are Idol.

All phones have two lines, a shared-line and a regular line.

All calls go to a shared-line on all phones, with a busy trigger set to
one.

CFB for that line goes to a hunt group, with the other phones.

However, this would cause the first call to ring all phones and the
second call to ring in a normal hunt fashion, it would not satisfy your
requirement that the 'second call ring the same extension that already
has the first call on it...'

That doesn't really make sense... so, whoever answers the first call,
gets all calls? Or am I misunderstanding this.

I have a customer who is using a hunt group. They are using the
broadcast algorithm for call distribution. The first call to the Pilot
number will ring all phones as it is suppose to. However, the second
call that comes in while the first call is still active will only ring
the phone DN that answered the first call. It does not ring the other
members who are Idle. Has anyone seen this issue before?
