[cisco-voip] Unity VM message notification to external mail server

Super easy to do, if you know a little about Exchange. All the rest of the
configuration is already there in terms of what Unity needs to know.
Basically you need to configure a "smart host" inside Exchange that
specifies where Exchange should relay SMTP messages to. Google about for it
and you'll find plenty of information on the topic.
Once you've got this set up properly, you should be able to configure an
email notification device, and off you go.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Unity VM message notification to external mail server
Hi,
just wondering if anybody has a good way of doing this.
We have a Unity VM system, and the thing that we are trying to accomplish is
to sent a email notification out to another smtp server if a vm arrives on
the Unity server.
It doesn`t have to be an email with a wav file attached or anything, just a
notification that there is a new vmail.
I have seen it work before, without having a UM solution, but not do the
config of it myself, can anyone help me out?
Thanks,
