[cisco-voip] upgrading 4.1(3) to 5.x - can I change MAC address and/or delete/add new phones?

Just wondering how the licencing works in 5.1 - I have a 4.1 installation that I'd like to upgrade for testing purposes. I can pre-load as many phones as I want on this system, does that mean I can change the MAC address without any problems when I want to make the phones work? How about if I want to change from a 7940 to a 7960?
