[cisco-voip] Unity failover wizard

We set up Unity FO about 6 months ago and I thought it was fairly
straight forward (needed a little TAC assistance). We had some issues
with the system failing over for no reason but found out that we had a
duplex mismatch on one of the servers. Since that's been fixed it has
been working fine. When we manually fail from one server to the other
it works like a charm. I think its worth putting in the extra effort to
avoid issues down the road but all in all our experience with it has
been pretty good.

I pray for your sake that they resolved some of the
problems with FO, it's been about a year since I've
had the pleasure of working with it so theres hope I
guess. I've been involved with about 10 different FO
installs and I think it was an even split on customers
that stuck with it and customers that demanded their
money back. I've got some SERIOUS TAC time logged on
Unity FO and still wake up in a cold sweat some nights
dreaming about it.
I mean give it a shot but if it starts to go south
then jump ship and get yourself a spare drive with a
base Unity install and use DIRT as your DR procedure,
or a full server backup, but the supported backup
solutions tend to be prices with the exchange and SQL
agents that accompany it..
