[cisco-voip] Outbound Caller ID

Hi all...

I've been tasked with looking into rotating our caller ID to different
numbers.  I've contacted our provider and we should be able to set our
caller id to any of the DIDs assigned to us.  That's easy enough to do,
we set aside a bank of reserved DIDs assigned to us (not active) and set
that as the external phone mask for the sets which require the 'fake'
DID (it would be easier to set the caller ID on the gateway level but
there are some extensions that require their actual DID to be
displayed).

Ideally I'd like to rotate our caller id amongst a pre-defined bank of
numbers on a per call basis.  Currently I am limited to updating the
external mask for the phones on a regular basis.

I have some questions:
 - Are there legal issues (in Canada) with displaying a caller id which
is assigned to us, but not in service?
 - Are there 3rd party programs that are able to rotate the outbound
caller id that interface with callmanager?
