[cisco-voip] Auto dial number (hot phone)

Here's how I do it now:

Create a partition called ringdown_to_mymenu_pt
create a searchspace called ringdown_to_mymenu_css and add the above partition to it
create a blank translation in the ringdown_to_mymenu_pt and change the transformed digits to the number you want to dial.
you have to assign the translation a CSS that can reach that transformed number
assign the line/phone the ringdown_to_mymenu_css

you should be good to go.

lelio "what do you mean adding a blank translation in the none partition is bad?" fulgenzi

  OK-

I'm sure it's been asked but can someone send me a link.

If I have a phone and you want it to dial a number soon as it's off hook, how do you do this. If I have a phone in conference rooms I want it to dial a call handler on Unity and then press number for the different departments.

I think PLAR is the way I do it on a router, but what about a normal IP Phone?

  Scott
