[cisco-voip] 7960 softkey Long Distance Redial

Are you certain the missed calls contains the appropriate prefix?

we have only encountered redial of a correct number failing in one
other instance - it was in europe with overlap sending and the redial
softkey or dial from missed calls caused digits to be relayed too
fast over the oubound d-channel.

signature of this issue was REJ messages from PSTN switch to gateway
in deb isdn q921:
003536: Mar 15 18:59:21.827: ISDN Se1/0:15 Q931: INFORMATION pd = 8
callref=0x060A
  Called Party Number i = 0x81, '2'
   Plan:ISDN, Type:Unknown
003537: Mar 15 18:59:21.827: ISDN  Q921d: isdn_l2d_srq_process:
event_count 6
003538: Mar 15 18:59:21.892: ISDN  Q921d: isdn_from_driver_process:
QUEUE_EVENT
003539: Mar 15 18:59:21.892: ISDN Se1/0:15 Q921: User RX <- RR sapi=0
tei=0 nr=106
003540: Mar 15 18:59:21.892: ISDN Se1/0:15 Q921d: process_rxdata:
Frame sent to L2
003541: Mar 15 18:59:21.892: ISDN Se1/0:15 Q921: User RX <- RR sapi=0
tei=0 nr=107
003542: Mar 15 18:59:21.892: ISDN Se1/0:15 Q921d: process_rxdata:
Frame sent to L2
003543: Mar 15 18:59:21.896: ISDN Se1/0:15 Q921: User RX <- REJ
sapi=0 tei=0 nr=107

CM was sending the INFORMATION messages too fast for the PSTN
switches or PBX's to handle. It looks like a mismatch of this the I-
frame window size(K) between mgcp IOS gateway and PSTN switch.

There is a hidden command on the isdn serial interface where you can
change the K value

isdn k <number>

The default value is 7 on latest IOS which should be fine in normal
operations, but change to 2 resolved issue for us.

shut/no shut after applying was required.

Hi,
On my 7960, when I redial a long distance call, from the missed calls
directory it fails. If I physically dial the same number it works.
A solution will be apprecaited.
Thanks - Tennisman.
