Scott,
I don't have the en_US folder as I am in the UK and I have done a UK
install, I have the en_GB folder but this is where I originally had the
files stored.

Just copied the wav file to the ICD directory where the others are
stored, refreshed the script and application and still I cannot get it
to play.

Make sure it's in the right directory. I search for the other wav files
that come with IPCC and then put my wav file in the same directory.

Thanks Scott, that's exactly how I have it set up but the script seems
to not play the prompt, it answers the call and then almost skips it and
straight to the Select Resource step then rings on the agents phones.

Your prompt variable should be type prompt and value should be
"P[filename]" with out the quotes and you don't need the .wav.
Inside the script you just use your variable.

I have uploaded the file now but I can't get it to play in the script. I
have added it to the variable and selected this in the play prompt, but
it does not play anything. I have checked the file and it is saved as
8.000KHZ, 8 bit, Mono, 7kb/sec CCITT u-Law which is the correct format
but still I get nothing?

You don't need to create a new folder. Just upload the prompt to the
folder that's there. For me in the US it's en_US. And you don't want
to zip the file. Keep it a WAV file.

Ok so I have created a wav file saved it in a zip file, I started the
Prompt Management, created a new folder within the English GB folder and
tried to upload the prompt but I am getting an exception error, what am

What version of IPCCx are you running? In 3.x it was kind of a pain to
do the prompts. You had to go into the en_US directory and place it
there and then go and edit your script with he prompt name. in 4.x you
can use the prompt manager to upload them.
But as Anthony stated you can leave yourself a voicemail via unity and
then use that wav file as your prompt.

If you are using Unity you can record via handset, otherwise, you can
record with a mic hooked up to a PC. You need to make sure to save the
file as 8khz, 8-bit, Mono, CCITT U-law. I've used the Window Sound
Recorder to do this in the past.
Then you can upload it via Tools->Prompt Management.
You should then be able to select the prompt within the Application
configuration for the default ICD script.

basic icd.aef script, what I would like to do though is record my own
play prompt and amend the script to play this. I cannot see how to
record my own prompt though, how is this done do I record it through a
