7200VXR as SIP-PSTN Gateway
Yes, it is possible.
I have been using a 7206 with a DS-3 port attached and a set of SIP trunks configured to the IP "side".

Subject: [cisco-voip] 7200VXR as SIP-PSTN Gateway
Folks,
I am curious to see if anyone has tried the following configuration
and if so, what the outcome was (success/fail):
(1) 7206VXR with NPE-G1 (1GB memory)
(4) PA-VXC-2TE1+
(1) PA-MCX-8TE1+
(1) PA-MCX-4TE1+
.. as in an alternative to using an AS5400 with T1 or CT3 interfaces
to the PSTN.
Thanks in advance,
-Tom
