[cisco-voip] ground start loop start

In our area the only way to get Ground start is to order it. All POTS
PSTN lines are Loop start. If you can use a regular analog phone, It's
loop start. Ground start requires grounding of the line in order to get
dial tone and work.
Believe it or not, I had to order a Ground start to get disconnect
supervision to work. It's a pain. I also found out it does matter if
the two wires are backwards.
