Did you disable and stop CSA if CSA is installed/running?
How abouy any other third party programs?
I have seen Mcaffee 8.0i have issues with CSA (where the mcshield service would crash) and from the 2 or 3 run ins I had with that issue, the mcafee 8.0i patch 11 seemed to fix the CSA/mcshield conflict but YMMV.

Subject: [cisco-voip] problems with installing McAfee on Unity and Exchange boxes
I had a problem installing McAfee on our Unity and Exchange boxes this weekend and one install did not complete. Basically the install stalled near the end and after at least 10 or 15 minutes it finally completed, but as mentioned above, one stayed stalled.
Anyone see anything like this? I logged in as the local administrator (same problem logging in as domain admin) but if I tried to cancel the install and reboot it looked like it was installed, but I wanted a clean install.
It's Enterprise 8.0i that I was trying to install.
Lelio
P.S. I had installed the standalone CSA agent first, but that posed no problems on our CallManager servers at all.
