Actually we just priced out a new site on CM 5.04 and they pricing.....
once you figure it out is better then CM 4.1 on smaller deployments.
They CM server Software increments with the size of the deployment as
does the phone licensing. 

 

But I don't like that you have to buy server licensing and phone
licensing to add more phones....... I think it's a wash in the end, but
what a pain.

 

Just my 2 cents.

The licensing for CCM5 doesnt seem too complicated to me (admitedly i
havent looked at the price list yet). 

Unity is the voice product i've been the least happy with from cisco so
far. I'm hoping it starts looking more like Unity Connection in a few
versions. And the licensing for Unity makes me want to cringe.
