[cisco-voip] AD / IPT

A couple times I have seen Active Directory administrators moving OUs and not realizing the impact on Unity/IPCC/MLA and then opening a P1 with TAC.

CM searches for the users beneath the User OU you specified when you installed the plugin. So long as the new OU's are below the existing User ØU you will be fine. Only problem is if you move the CiscoOU where we store the user profiles. Then basically everything that uses directory will break.

I have Unity 4.0.5 / CM 4.1.3sr2 / IPCCx 4.0.1 all integrated to AD 2003.

What would happen if we wanted to move users from the default OU (users) and put them in new OU's (central site, remote sites, etc). what is going to break? (*note the what is, not what may ;-)

Thanks
