Tried that... I actually added 50 of each phone type that exists in CCM
4.1. You can edit the MAC in CCM5 without a license (so I have phones
registered using SCCP) but you can't add, delete, or convert to SIP
(which is effectively a delete/add operation).

CM5 licensing is something we'll just have to embrace. We'll be
purchasing the NFR, but I'm not sure how far that'll take us.

Well, what you do is add a few hundred 7971s (or 7985s) before the
upgrade, and then delete them after.

But you didn't hear that from me.
