Any framing problems over time? Framing issues tend to cause pops/scratches
on the line. Check your controller and interface for any errors.
A bad E1 card that "heats up" over time might also be a possibility, but
check for line problems first.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Voice Quality Problem
Hi,
I have a questions regarding voice quality to the PSTN.
I have a Cisco 2800 with 2 serials (E1).
When dialing internal, the voice quality is perfect.
When dialing to the pstn the voice quality is good at first and after a
period of time it gets scratchy.
This gets worse during the days.
After a reboot its ok again.
The scratchy noice is heard on the outside world and not on the Call Manager
Voip environment.
Does anyone have any idea.
