Hi,

Well, the phone is fine.

This is interesting. So user claim that at the second call everything
ok/

Do you have any load balancing ? I mean that second call can leave voip
at the different gw or

At the same gw but on different T1/E1 ??

What display sh call history voice br at the problem call ??

Hi,

To answer your questions:

1 - The user hears themselves twice, but the the remote user cannot hear
anything unusual.

2 - The echo does not occur on "on net" calls, only when they pass to
the PSTN, and then on local, national and mobile calls. (Both inbound
and outbound). The gateway is a Cisco AS5350.

3 - No, between IP phones on our network is fine. When the user
experiences this, they say that the next call is ok, no echo.,

Thanks

Darren

Hi,

To answer you question, you must understand where is the source of Echo.

And what kind of Echo you have.

1.	Does you users hear yourselves or twice remote user ??
2.	When echo appears ? Where the user call - long distance call or
local ??

Does a call exist the VoIP ?? if yes, what is the gateway

3.	Is Echo between two IP phones ??

When you replace phone, the problem with the same holder of phone, does
it ?

Here the link where you could find useful info.

Hi,

I have 2 users complaining of feedback / Echo on 2 Cisco 7940 phones.
The phones are connected to a Cisco Catalyst 3524XL-PWR switch, along
with 20 other 7940's.
No other users on this switch are experiencing any issues.

I have replaced one of the phones, but the issue is still there.

The switch is running IOS ver c3500xl-c3h2s-mz.120-5.WC03, I noticed the
latest version is c3500xl-c3h2s-mz.120-5.WC14 which I can only upgrade
to out of hours.

Is there anything else I can check to resolve this issue?
Switch Config is pasted below:

Thanks
