Subject: [cisco-voip] upgrade of 3.3.4 with Microsoft active
directoryintegration
All,
I have a publisher and two subscribers. All are running 3.3.4.
I am upgrading the entire cluster to 4.1.3. I have all new hardware
(MCS7835s).
I upgraded the version of BARS on the current production 3.3.4 install
to the latest version and performed a backup. I then transferred that
.tar file to a newly installed 3.3.5 publisher on the new hardware. I
then restored back from the tar file.
My plan is to upgrade this "staging" publisher to 4.1.3, then backup,
then restore to a clean 4.1.3 install.
The issue I have run into is this:
The customer I am doing this for has directory integration running to
active directory. The servers are not in the domain. But the user
database is getting it's info from active directory.
My question is:
Can I continue my plan, with a database that is "broken" and not have
any issues? Once I arrive onsite, can I run the plugin and everything
will be "fixed"?
Thanks.
