[cisco-voip] back to back pri

Kevin:
This seems to be a perfect setup for a telco simulator. Would you know
what other commands to type in on both routers to make this a working
telco simulator? I have several VG200s sitting around with ISDN PRI
cards and I hope to use them as a telco simulator so my lab could make
some 'outside' calls instead of the regular 'internal' calls I'm
currently only able to make.

Thanks in advance.

You will need to do the following....

- T1 crossover cable
- One side should provide clocking by using the "clock source internal"
on the T1/E1 ocntroller
- One side will need to be the ISDN User Side (default) and you will
need to configure the other side as the ISDN Network Side with the
following command under the serial interface: "isdn protocol-emulate
network"

For example:

controller T1 3/0
  framing esf
  clock source internal
  linecode b8zs
  pri-group timeslots 1-24

interface Serial3/0:23
  no ip address
  encapsulation hdlc
  isdn switch-type primary-ni
  isdn protocol-emulate network
  isdn incoming-voice voice
  no cdp enable
