[cisco-voip] Graceful Failover between CallManagers.

There is no reboot required. I think if the phone itself is already connected to the backup callmanager as standy the failover is relatively quick. A quick screen refresh happens if I'm not mistaken. If it is the third CallManager that it is failing over to, it might take a little longer.
If there is an actve call, the whole process waits until that call is over.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Graceful Failover between CallManagers.
Can someone confirm my thinking on this.
I have a Publisher /Subscriber setup with the phones registered to the Subscriber.
I had thought that if the subscriber goes off line, the phones will reboot and re-register with the publisher
but if I shutdown the callmanager process on the subscriber the phones will re-home to the publisher without a phone reboot.
Any thoughts?
Scott
