[cisco-voip] unknown number on off-net forwarded call

you mean the mask? it's set to 5197675086. this shows up when i call offnet fine.

  Sounds like it, but I've checked it all. It's only on forwarded calls that the display doesn't show. When I call outbound normally, the calling number of the phone shows us (as per the external calling mask).

    Sounds like your not sending any caller ID.

     

    Have you double checked the phone's CID mask?  

     

    Does your Telco let you send individual CID?  We had to pay Verizon $$$ to get the service.

    I've set up my route patterns to allow for individual calling masks, however, when I call a phone that has an external mask set, is forwarded offnet and has the route patterns correctly (as far as I can tell) configured to allow to use the external calling mask, I get unknown number rather than the number of the calling party.

     

    I have double checked that the calling number does not have the number blocked since it appears when I call a regular phone.

     

    Any ideas?
