Hi Michael,
Significant Digits" to 3 means that if ССM receive number 3333-0
It pass to the digit analysis engine - 330 ,
So you have some options to handle this number, from my opinion.
a) Configure translation pattern 330 to the desired number.
b) Assign 330 to the desired phone.
But, also you can translate this number on the GW, and send to the CCM

Subject: [cisco-voip] How to handle the incoming "0" with an E1 PSTNconnection
Hey there,
I´m just wondering how to handle the "0" with an E1 PSTN connection (in
Germany). I have a setup with 3 digits long extensions. For example
3333-XXX.
But what if somebody dials 3333-0 ?
The Gateway is an 2801 MGCP Gateway.
So I setup the "Significant Digits" to 3 and my extensions should work
without any problems. But what happens if someone dials the "0" from the
PSTN ?
Do I have to setup a special dial rule on the gateway? Or via a
translation pattern?
So far I did not found any information realted to this topic...
Any hints?
Thank you and best regards
Michael
