[cisco-voip] MOH music

That's what I was thinking---

And there's ways to feed the same audio material into both audio inputs
easily enough---
Speaking as an ex-professional recording engineer, there are plenty of
devices out there that would balance the impedance and levels for you,
so that one source could feed to two destinations without weirdness on
the electrical/audio level side of things..

But you could put them in a MRG MRL and have the redundancy, right?

They would be separate MoH audio sources... one for each server...

so true....

But I guess I'm not -that- worried about MOH going down..

If one of my CCMs is down, that's going to be getting my attention
ASAP!! ;-)

for a lot of reasons other than MOH....

I wonder if you configure music onto both audio ports on both CCMS ---
which one is the MOH source?

Yes, but...

The problem with a fixed audio source is that it is plugged into ONE of
the servers... if that server goes down, or is unreachable, you lose
MoH...

I use a Griffin USB device that gives me a Line IN on the CCM, then use
Fixed Audio Source 51

I can play a CD player at the system, and can also do line out from a PC
taking in KingFM's stream, etc...

What are you looking for?

To be honest, I am partial to Vivaldi, and I just joined the entire four
seasons mp3s together and dumped em in the translator...

Hi,

Does anyone have some good MOH music other than for the cisco music?

Thanks.
