[cisco-voip] Garbled Audio issue

I am experiencing intermittent garbled speech. Tests show that jitter, MOS
and RTA are present but not bad by any means. (1ms on jitter, maybe 3ms on
deviation, MOS is 4.30 consistent and RTA is less than 20ms). I should add
this is a wireless link but the signal is stable and the AP is not
experiencing any excess waiting due to retransmissions. I was fortunate to
capture some traffic when it was happening this time and don't seen anything
that strange in the capture. I do have some questions though
Here is the setup:
PBX -> QoS box -> wireless backhaul -> wireless CPE -> ATA.
When the packets are traveling from the direction of the PBX to the ATA the
DSCP is showing as being set as Assured Forwarding. When the packets are
traveling from the ATA back to the PBX it is being showed as Expedited
Forwarding. The garble is heard on the ATA side of the conversation and it
is very intermittent. First of all is the fact that packets are being marked
different in one direction than another odd to anyone? I have administrative
control over the whole link from end to end so my settings should not be
being dropped by anything. Could this be an issue? I also wanted to mention
that the link is not saturated during these times so does that mean that
assured forwarding should be fine?
Any insight would be great thanks!
Curt
