No problems using VNC for previous OS upgrades. I do like to be on site
for CM upgrades. Not that it couldn't be done via VNC but just due to
my environment.

I have not installed that specific update, but we use VNC to do OS
upgrades for managed customers all the time. The only time I've had to
go onsite was for a complete rebuild after someone turned on automatic
updates.

Can anyone advise if it's safe to update a Publisher with OS Patches
using VNC, I am looking to install OS 2000.4.3a SR5.

I have found the following document,
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/788/AVVID/vnc-ccm-remote-svr.html

But it is not clear whether I can install the OS patches or not as it
says to Apply Patches for Call Manager.
