Hi,
I'm new to the list (not to puck, though :). I'd like to ask for some wisdom
on an issue I'm having at the moment that I haven't been able to solve.
The drill is to set up a VIC-2FXO in a 1760 running C1700-IPVOICEK9-M
12.4(10a), and the problem is that it doesn't want to place the call. The
configuration is double- and triple-checked and I found nothing wrong with it.
Following the advice on
<http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk652/tk653/technologies_tech_note09186a00803736c1.shtml>
I have issued this command and got the following back:
v1#csim start 607727487
csim: called number = 607727487, loop count = 1 ping count = 0
csim err:csim_do_test invalid major major(16) minor(0)
csim: loop = 1, failed = 0
csim: call attempted = 1, setup failed = 0, tone failed = 0
The dial-peer can't be much simpler:
!
dial-peer voice 100 pots
destination-pattern .......
port 2/0
forward-digits all
!
I have found nothing on that "invalid major", just someone asking on another
forum who didn't get an answer.
Any hint appreciated. TIA.
