[cisco-voip] 6608 MTP transcoder codec change

Ok. Well, It fixed the issue I had elsewhere with a MGCP GW and G729 VAD type symptons.

How would you do for MGCP if that parameter is for H.323 -- silence suppression service parameter? I am trying to get calls on another MGCP GW that use a transcoder (6608 MTP) to use g729r8 instead of g729br8.

That param text is a little old to, because it also states to set it to true on all nodes in the cluster, but it is a cluster wide parameter now.

Thanks, Erick

That param was only supposed to affect the caps advertised over h323
TerminalCapabilitiesSet.

Quick question.... when you set the CCM service parameter to strip G.
729 annex B bit (silence suppression) to true do you need to reset
MTP transcoder, MGCP gateway for them to take the codec changes?
