Hi guys,

there is actually a quite nice pdf regarding this on cco:
http://www.cisco.com/application/pdf/en/us/guest/products/ps2641/c1650/ccmigration_09186a0080182d38.pdf
On Page 11 an onwards, you will find the max physical connectivity as well as the maximum of channels the router can do with regard to it's cpu.
2801 can actually take only E1 interface maximum.

Regards
bernhard

I have put 3 PRIs into a 2821.  1 VWIC-2mft-t1 and 1 VWIC-1mft-t1.  I think you can stack PRIs up like crazy in the ISRs.  Even the 2801.  Just make sure you have the DSPs.

No need for a NM-HDV2 with the ISR routers.  I believe you needed those for the 37XX and 26XX routers that didn't have the PVDM slots like the ISRs.
