Call Pickup Notification 

This new feature allows users to receive an audio and/or visual alert
when a call rings on a phone in pickup groups in which they are a
member. For multiple line phones, the alert is available for pickup
groups associated with the primary line only. 

You can configure the following notification parameters in the Call
Pickup Group Configuration window: 

* Type of notification (audio, visual, both, or neither) 

*Content of the visual notification message (called party
identification, calling party identification, both, or neither) 

*Number of seconds delay between the time the call comes into the
original called party and the notification to the rest of the call
pickup group members 

You can configure the type of audio notification that is provided when a
phone is idle or in use in the Directory Number Configuration window.

I have CCM 4.1 and have successfully configured a PUG.  In my testing,
if more than two DNs (same PUG) are ringing and I try
'PickUp'/'GPickUp'/'oPickUp' , none will allow me to select which DN I
want to pick up.  All of the pickup options just randomly pick up either
of the lines.

 

I found information that 4.2 has resolved this and was just inquiring if
anyone can attest to this.  Supposedly the fix will display the ringing
lines and allow you to select either of the lines.
