If you throw a call through a Route Point first, will that solve the
problem?

Subject: [cisco-voip] "Alerting Name" on hunt pilots

When configuring a normal DN in CCM 4.2, I have the ability to set an
"alerting name" that shows up on the phone (a 7941, in this case) when that
number is called. This works well; however, is there a way to do this for
hunt pilots? We have several hunt groups that when called, display the first
DN in the group. We'd like to be able to display something abstracted, so
people don't know who's in the group when they call (i.e. internal calls to
the hunt group display "To: James Williams"
instead of "To: Help Desk" if I happen to be the first DN in the group).

Has anyone managed to accomplish this, and if so, how did you do it?

Thanks in advance,

-James Williams (jwilliams at ci.carson-city.nv.us)
