[cisco-voip] 4506 switchport config for 7936

It all depends on your security model. Why configure a port differently than all your other ports? I don't think there is any added value and quite honestly, I think there's more harm than anything. Port management is a big deal around here, so the easier the config the better. By sticking with a standard, you can move your device to any port and it works and you can move any device, laptop or phone, to that port and it works.

  Since the 7936's don't have PC ports, is there a reason to setup a voice vlan on the switchport or is just setting the switchport up as access vlan with the access vlan being the voice vlan enough?
