I don't know about question 2 but there is a option to allow the user
calling from the correct extension not to enter a pin. I don't remember
where, but it's in the newer versions of Unity.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Unity

HI There,

I have got questions regarding Unity/ Unity Connection. May be there is
somebody who can help me:

1. User PIN

Is it possible to disable the PIN verification for subscribers? As soon
as the subscriber dials the voicemail number he is authenticated (so no
PIN verification).

2. Scenario with Unity Connection

- Two IP Phones

- First IP Phone DN: 1000

- Second IP Phone DN: 2000

- One Voicemail box for DN 1000, with an alternate extension 2000

- Several new voice messages for DN 1000

First IP Phone calls Unity Connection and presses 1 to listen to new
voice messages. During first IP Phone is listening to new voice message,
the second IP Phone calls the Unity Connection, too. Presses 1 to listen
to new voice messages.

What will happen? Will the second IP Phone here the next voice message
(the message after the message currently playing on the first IP Phone),
the same voice message as the first IP Phone, etc?

Thanks for your help
