CCM 6.0 will continue to be java based, however with 6.0 they will be
re-offering a windows 2003 platform. Cisco is working on creating a
platform independent java version that can be used for linux or windows.

I'm talking about the Front end Java not the backend. At least I think
of JTAPI as a backend.

JTAPI is still used to for communication with CCM in 5.0.x. You did not
mention if this was for IPCC Enterprise or Express. Regardless IPCC
enterprise 7.1.1 is supported with 5.0.2 & IPCC Express 4.5.1 & 4.5.2
are also supported with 5.0.x, see links below for detail.

Does anyone know what the interface to CM 5.x and 6.x uses? Is it JAVA?
What version? Is there a IPCCx version compatible with CM 5.x?

Thanks

Scott
