Unless you already have your softkey templates assigned per device (not
set to default), the easiest way to change it is through the device
pools. It is generally a good idea to leave all DP settings as default
on the phones so you don't have to change potentially hundreds or
thousands of individual devices but just a handful of device pools.

Subject: [cisco-voip] BAT question-- CCM 4.01
Is it possible to update the softkey template globally using BAT?
I've designed a new softkey template that applies QRT and MCIS
but I cannot figure out how to get that softkey template to be in use on
the phones globally..
(or even a test subset of phones)
Softkey template doesn't appear in the BAT menus for phone or for line.
I could change it on every phone, but that would NOT be workable with
500 phones...
Does this mean that softkey settings are globally configured somewhere
else?
I see device profiles as a possibility, but my vendor didn't configre
any device profile
apparently. When I do a search for "device profile" and leave the box
empty,
there's nothing reported in the search
ideas??
thanks, Tim
