[cisco-voip] Is it safe to use SQL Server Authentication instead of Windows Authentication?

I want to access the CDR database from outside CallManager. Is is safe
to change the database properties from "Use Windows Authentication" to
"Use SQL Server Authentication"?

Would it be better to leave it as is and create a local windows account?
