[cisco-voip] Deleting old domain reference in Unity

2 years ago we renamed our Windows 2003 domain (but Unity runs on Windows
2000) from "lal.ufl.edu" to "crec.ifas.ufl.edu". The NetBIOS name was
unchanged, at "CREC". Unity was rebooted per Microsoft domain-renaming
instructions, and Unity itself wound up in the new domain OK. After some
initial glitches, Unity seemed to work well for the last couple of years.

However, during recent housekeeping, we find we can't delete several
subscribers, receiving the tool-tip-style error message: "The Domain
controller for lal.ufl.edu cannot be contacted." when hovering over the
Delete icon. Some of these subscribers were added long after the domain
rename, FWIW. The old domain name still appears in the first row of the
ADDomain table in the UnityDB database. I'm leaving it alone for now, but
every fiber in my body cries out to delete that row.

Also, not unexpected, the top line in the DCGC tools table still shows the
old domain. The second line shows the new domain. Help for DCGC says that
"the first domain in the list is the one specified when the Message Store
Configuration Wizard is run during Cisco Unity Installation." Unity has
been upgraded several times since the domain rename, and the Message Store
Configuration Wizard was re-run sveral times since then as well, most
recently when Unity 4.2(1) was installed. In all cases the new domain was
specified. It looks like once a domain gets into Unity's ADDomain table, it
stays there.

There is no reference to the old domain anywhere in the Unity Registry.

Bottom line (finally) is: How do I get rid of this non-existent domain in
Unity?
