Hello;
Try to traceroute from the voice gateway to the IP Phone that is doing this problem and see if the packets is going in the correct path or not. Also try to make an extended ping with a large repeat count 10000 or more and see if there is any packet loss or not this all is to check IP connectivity only.

Also try to check the echo cancelation configuration on the voice gateway if u r configured echo suppersion not cancelation this may led to a problem like this but it should happen only when u stop talking and the other party begins to talk maybe a part of his/her first words maynot arrive when using echo suppression.

If this problem happend after any software or firmware upgrade try to revert back to the old state and see if this solve the problem.

can u please give us more details, how often this happen in the call. is it a problem with a single IP Phone or with all IP Phones. is it happening with all calls or not.

Thanks and Best Regards

It seems I have some odd problems but here is another one. This one I have contacted TAC and their solution didn't work so I was checking with you guys to see if anyone else had experienced this. When on a call you will be listening to the other person and it will go out for a couple of seconds and then come back. This happens continuously while on the call. I have had to ask people to repeat what they said because I missed it.

TAC had us download a file to the router and then reboot. We did that yesterday and today the issue is still happening. Thanks
